The policy describes how we handle information provided to us or collected on Internet sites where this privacy policy is posted. It also explains how we handle information provided to us or collected on products or services we may make available on or through third-party sites or platforms, if it is disclosed to you in connection with your use, purchase or download of the products or services. We may make changes to this policy. Please check back frequently for updates. Unless otherwise noted, any changes to this policy will take effect immediately upon being posted. Your continued use of Smith Baseball Academy site, products and services after the effective date of the changes constitutes your consent.

Children Under 13

The Smith Baseball Academy site is not directed to children under 13 years of age.  We won’t knowingly allow anyone under 13 to provide us any personal identifying information. Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as their names, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers) over the Internet. We encourage parents to become involved in their kids’ online experience and to share their interest in our site with their children.

Transfers of Information for Legal Purposes

What are “Cookies” and “Web Beacons” and what do they do for me?

Remarketing

In addition to third-party advertising, we may use the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise our products and services on third-party websites, including Google, to previous visitors to our sites. This could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, such as using the contact form to make an inquiry. This could also be in the form of an advertisement on a Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our sites. Any PII collected through the Google AdWords remarketing service will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

The Smith Baseball Academy site contains links to other sites with information gathering practices different from our own. Visitors should always consult privacy policies for all other sites, as Smith Baseball Academy has no control over information submitted to or collected by such third parties.

The Smith Baseball Academy site might offer contests, sweepstakes, or promotions sponsored or co-sponsored by third parties.
