2-day Clinic  |  March 16-17

WHAT:  This 2-day catchers clinic is designed to elevate your defensive skills behind the plate! This clinic will focus on the fundamentals and advanced techniques needed to become an elite catcher.  Boys baseball only.   

✅ Receiving & Framing – Improve your ability to steal strikes for your pitchers
✅ Blocking & Recovery – Master proper technique to keep balls in front
✅ Throwing Mechanics – Develop quick, accurate throws to control the running game
✅ Footwork & Agility – Enhance movement efficiency for better reactions
✅ Game Awareness & Leadership – Learn how to command the field as a catcher

This high-energy, catcher-specific training is perfect for catchers looking to improve their defensive game and gain confidence behind the plate!

WHO:  3rd-5th Grade Catchers & 6th-8th Grade Catchers (boys only)

WHEN:  March 16-17  |  6th-8th Grade 9:00-10:30am each day  |  3rd-5th Grade 10:45am-12:15pm each day  

WHERE:  Smith Baseball Academy, 4601 SE Adams St., Topeka, KS

COST:  $75

EQUIPMENT:  Catcher’s gear & mitt required! Participants need to bring their own Catcher’s mitt, their own Catcher’s gear & mask, and wear athletic apparel needed to execute Catching drills!
